When you arrive at the clinic, the staff will greet you and seat you at the waiting room. We will examine you as quick as possible.

When you enter you should have:

• Police ID or passport.
• Ticket from your insurance company (where needed).
• If you are going to use private insurance, your Nursing Card and your insurance policy number.
• More specifically, if you will use the EOPYY. (IKA-ETAM, OGA, TYDKY, OAEE, OPAD):
• Disease booklet in force. If you are indirectly insured with IKA and do not have a certified booklet, you must present it together with the certified booklet of the direct insured.
• Last quarter Pension Information Note, if you are an OPAD pensioner. If you are a protected board member, you should also have the last quarter pension note with you.

You must state to the Reception staff:

• your Tax Registration Number (TIN)
• the Public Financial Service (DOU) to which you belong
• the Social Security Registration Number (AMKA)

If you are going to use private insurance, you will have to state the hospital location (Number of beds per room) you are entitled to under your insurance policy. Therefore, it is helpful to have contacted your insurer beforehand.

During your treatment it is necessary to have with you:

• pajamas – nightgowns – slippers
• personal hygiene items (such as toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush)

You should avoid carrying valuables or other valuables with you. In case you have, please inform your Head of Hospital floor in order to hand them over to the Security Officers to be kept in a special box until the day of your departure.

The Clinic bears absolutely no responsibility for the loss of your personal items that you have not delivered to the special storage area.

Also, do not bring electrical appliances (electric hair dryers, shavers) as they may not meet the required specifications and may cause fire or electric shock.

The presence of an attendant is not necessary, as the nursing floors are staffed with nursing staff, so as to meet the needs of all patients.

If you still want the presence of a dedicated nurse, you can request it from your Head of Hospital, by filling out the relevant application.

Visiting hours daily are:

• Nursing Floors: 10.30am – 13.00pm & 17.30pm – 20.00pm

Guests are kindly requested to leave after the end of the visit, allowing you or the other patients to rest and making it easier for the nursing staff to work.

Departures are usually until 10 in the morning. This avoids extra charge, but also makes it easier for other patients waiting to be admitted. In any case, contact your doctor to plan your discharge.
