The Corfu General Clinic “Alexandros Mastoras” provides full medical services to all International patients whilst on Corfu Island, including those from Cruise ships, shipping agents, hotel and travel agency employees.
On arrival at the Corfu General Clinic, International patients are immediately welcomed and directed to the designated emergency room.
A qualified multilingual “On Call” doctor communicates with the patient to determine the concerns and current history followed by a full clinical examination and programming of appropriate diagnostic tests and admission. The medical team informs patients of the investigations necessary and ongoing treatment plan before admission to the ward.
To facilitate the administration of the international patient’s insurance cover, the specialized staff of the Foreign Patient Department process the documentation of each individual case provided by reception of the clinic with care and in accordance with Data Protection Laws . After all the necessary documentation has been completed by the patient, and after the verbal request of the patient to the insurance company in order to open a claim and to provide a case reference number. The data base documents are sent by email with corresponding case reference number to the insured’s insurance company abroad and relevant assistance representation in Greece.
